Migrate to Sooma¶

Moving your email to Sooma happens in three stages: prepare the mailboxes at Sooma, copy the old messages, and change the domain's MX records so that new mail starts arriving at Sooma.

Choose the guide for your current service:

• Migrate from Google Workspace / Gmail
• Migrate from another service via IMAP — works for most providers (cPanel, Plesk, other operators).
• Back up old mail — for those who prefer to keep their history in a file rather than migrate it.

After the migration, users must set up their email apps again with the Sooma server settings.
